 There are many reasons to use different fabrics on the same piece. You like the contrast and updated look it brings to your piece, or you simply don't have enough of your favorite fabric. Unfortunately that was the case with these two club chairs. The clients wanted matching club chairs, but there just wasn't enough of there unique fabric for both pieces. We helped them find a complimentary fabric and create a unique look.
This outdated barrel chair was given a makeover. A bermuda blue velvet was used on the inside of the chair for the durability and cleanability it offers. A contrast ikat fabric was used on the outside back and as the band on the cushion to tie the fabrics together and create a cohesive look.

These parsons chairs were done in a very traditional style. We were able to help update the look by removing the skirt, changing the seat style and the client picked a bright blue linen materiel.
